Tony Hendley

Tony Hendley is Managing Director and head of Cimtechs
research and consultancy division. With a degree and postgraduate
qualifications in information science and computing, and more
than fifteen years of intensive research into imaging, electronic
document management and workflow management systems, he is one
of the UKs leading authorities in this area. Tony has
been responsible for many of Cimtechs largest projects
and has worked with many of Europes leading private and
public organisations on document management, workflow management
and records management
projects. Tony is a past president of the British Computer Societys
Document Imaging Specialist Group and a regular
speaker at national and international events. He contributes
to
Cimtechs Managing Information and Documents: the definitive
guide and
the Centres journal, Information Management & Technology.

John Walsh

John Walsh is a consultant specialising in identifying the business
case, process efficiencies and competitive advantages from improving
information workflows and automating data capture in all types
of organisation. John brings to Cimtech clients more than 20
years
of technical and business experience in commercial and public
sector organisations across the UK to design, implement and
support
document management and automated forms processing solutions.
He is a qualified PRINCE2 project management practitioner.

Alison Gibney

Alison Gibney has been an IT consultant for over 25 years, the last 10 of which have been devoted to document and records management. Initially involved in the technical aspects of EDM she later moved on to product evaluation, system design and post-implementation consultancy. Since joining Cimtech she has advised a wide range of clients, including those in financial services, central and local government, police, health and higher education. Her assignments cover the many stages of planning solutions, from the early strategy study or information management review, to records management preparation work and on to assist with the EDM and EDRM specification, procurement and implementation.

Simon Ackerley

Simon Ackerley has worked for
20 years in the IT industry. Since graduating in Engineering he
has developed a wide range of business, technical and project management
skills in a variety of public and private sector organisations
including universities, local and central Government, engineering,
utilities and transportation ranging from one-man-bands to
corporations. Simon has acquired considerable experience over the
last 10 years in electronic document and records management, workflow
and data and document capture. He has applied this with a pragmatic,
hands-on approach throughout the project lifecycle; from project
definition, information gathering and analysis and business justification
to specification, implementation and support of complex electronic
document and records management systems.

David Pitt

From 1985 Dave spent fifteen years with NCR
Corporation becoming European Program Manager, Intranet and Knowledge
Management. He was responsible within Europe for developing the
NCR electronic document
and records system; when he left the company the system had 3 terabytes
of documents and over 19,000 users. After leaving NCR he became
Internet Project Manager at Reed-Elsevier, then Web Producer at
eBusinessMedia (part of United News). Thereafter,
he joined Diverse Ltd, an independent TV and web company, as Senior
Technical Project Manager where he developed the HistoryWorld website.
For the last three years, Dave has been Director of Electronic
Records Management for the British Council where he project-managed
the
selection and piloting of the Council's ERM and KM systems. The
systems will be deployed to 250 offices in a 120 countries worldwide.
He was also responsible for data protection and freedom of information.

Roger
Broadhurst

Roger Broadhurst received the IMC Award of Excellence for his
contribution to the international information management community.
He specialises
in consultancy projects covering all aspects of document and data
capture, the evaluation of document imaging systems, trouble-shooting
for existing installations and providing expert advice to clients
in litigation. He is compiler of the annual Cimtech publication Managing Information and Documents: the definitive guide, and
the editor of Cimtech's online journal Information Management & Technology (IM@T.Online). Roger has extensive experience of standards work through the UKAIIM Standards
Committee.
